Who we are
Books and Catalogues is the brand under which Eastprint GmbH sells printing services to European publishers, brands and studios. We are not a printing house ourselves — we represent a network of Polish printers, binders and finishing houses and coordinate the whole production for you.
That means one contact instead of five suppliers, one quotation instead of five, and one person answerable for the deadline.

The team
Łukasz Szymański
CEO & Founder

Łukasz is the head and heart of the company. He is responsible for production management and logistics, building good relations with suppliers and ensuring the highest quality of service. He has strong relationships with printing houses, graphic designers and shipping companies.
With his energy, negotiation skills and perseverance he is able to secure the best price and timetable. “I am very lucky because I work with fantastic people who share the same passion and motivation for quality and delivery.”
He gained his experience in the USA, where he worked for three years and learned the culture of local companies and their approach to customers. After returning to Poland he worked for international corporations, broadening his skills in customer service and sales. He has built relations with clients from the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden and Ireland, and studied in Germany, working with people from all over Europe.
In his free time he is collecting equipment for a bicycle excursion across the south of France.
Miłosz Chmielewski

A mixture of a logical mind and a creative soul. After working as an IT specialist, Miłosz decided to change his scope of interest and learn new things.
At Books and Catalogues his skills are used in graphics and preparing publications for print. If files need urgent changes, he reacts quickly so that deadlines and the technical requirements of a printing house are met. He also takes care of packaging projects, and is responsible for IT matters — essential for communication with customers.
His free-time passions are photography and, recently, the art of filmmaking.
David Reber

David is responsible for contact with our German-speaking partners. He is a graduate geographer, hobby biologist and mountaineer. During his travels between Africa, Asia and the Americas he took on all kinds of jobs, collecting experience in several fields.
His interest in the printing business began on a trip to Poland, where he became familiar with the opportunities of the industry and with our team. David is always willing to advise you not only on how to make your publication cheaper, but also how to make it a high-quality product.
